Novi Sad is the largest city of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, the northern province of Serbia, as well as the seat of the provincial authorities [2] and the administrative center of South Backa District. The city is located on the border of Backa and Srem, on the banks of the Danube and the Little Bake canal, in the Pannonian plains and the northern slopes of Fruska up.
